When it is the “Fifty Shades....” how could you think
that there would not be a shred of tension involved in the shooting? After all,
for a film which has courted controversy right from its casting days, regarding
cast changes, getting involved in another controversy was just like a slow
burning ember which has now gathered flames. This time the controversy has a
lot to do with the lead pair of the film, that is Anastasia and Christian, or
actually you can say, it has a lot to do with the actors who are playing the
roles of Christian and Ana, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

to come from the set is that Jamie Dornan is “overprotective” of Dakota
Johnson. The relationship between Jamie and Dakota, on and off the set, is
going great, and that is partly because of the difference in the very nature of
Dakota and Jamie, which balances their relationship. It has been noted by an
observer on the set and a source that Jamie Dornan keeps to himself mostly on
the set and is reserved, who is amiable but does not talk too much to the cast
and the crew, but on the other hand, Dakota gets along well with almost anyone
and everyone on the sets, be it the members of the cast or the crew.
Jamie thinks
that precisely that is the reason why the 24 year old is losing her
concentration and is getting distracted on the set. Jamie Dornan is like a big
protector on the set and often tries to help Dakota in such situations by
walking over to the person and asking them politely to leave or end the
conversation. It seems like Jamie is taking his onscreen role a little too
personally and keeping up with it off screen too. Jamie Dornan is acting in the
role of Christian Grey, who has been described as a protective and masochist
self made billionaire, while Dakota Johnson has been described in the novel as
a naive and coy college graduate who plays the role of the submissive partner
in the BDSM inspired relationship they eventually form.
The characters,
it seems, have gone too under the skin of their characters, not that we are
complaining. The on screen chemistry that we have already seen between Dakota
and Jamie, it seems, has now transcended behind the screens too. It has also
been reported that despite the fact that “Fifty Shades...” is going to be one
of her most famous roles, Dakota Johnson has ‘nailed’ her role as Anastasia
Steele. Considering the fact she was among the first members of the cast to be
chosen and finalised, the journey of Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson’s young
daughter seems to be headed for the right destination, and for Jamie Dornan,
slipping into the shoes of ex-Christian Grey Charlie Hunnam, might have been
quite the task, but we bet that if the shoe fits, one should wear it, isn’t it
Mr. Grey, erm, Mr. Dornan?
