Universal Pictures and Focus Features are the teases of the Century. Now that we have a director for the Fifty Shades movies, we’re just sitting here, biting our nails in anticipation for any casting news, yet so far any forthcoming information has been nada.
Until now, we’ve only had our own guesses to fall back on, watching the fan favorites fluctuate on a daily basis along with the odds on which hot actor or actress will be cast in the role of Christian Grey or Anastasia Steele.
Henry Cavill, Matt Bomer and Ian Somerhalder are the top Christian Grey favorites to date, however while their continuous popularity continues to grow on a daily basis, Ryan Gosling is another actor more and more are willing to bet their money on.
Gosling was an initial popular candidate for the role of Christian Grey, however it seems like Gosling is getting his groove back in the part of Christian Grey. So the question is, who would be a good fit for Gosling to star alongside him as Anastasia Steele?
One reason why Gosling has become such a hot commodity these days is thanks to his part in the Gangster Squad, so perhaps his former co-star Emma Stone might be a good fit.
Stone has the look – she manages to be both beautiful and has the “girl-next-door” thing about her. In fact, the pair are such a popular choice they have appeared in a number of fan made trailers which have gone viral, where Gosling and Stone are depicted as the kinky pair. Due to their content and seductive allure, these video clips have gathered thousands of hits on YouTube alone.
After their roles in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” and “Gangster Squad”, it’s evident that Gosling and Stone carry some amazing onscreen chemistry. They have not been afraid to get sweaty and intimate in their roles, so why wouldn’t they be able to take it up a notch in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie?
Right now the race is on, but if Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling are cast opposite each other, we can definitely be certain it will be a steamy hot production of Fifty Shades of Grey.
